We're two educators and parents who started The Youth Thread because we know how overwhelming it can be to find the right support for children and young people. Whether you're a parent, carer, young person, or educator — we want to hear from you.

We will always try to respond to you personally. At a minimum, every question or topic you share will be addressed through a dedicated blog post, guide, or resource — so even if your situation is unique, your message helps others too.

Started by two educators (and parents) — Jo and Laura — with vast experience, both professional and personal, with many issues affecting children and young adults. It is our vision to have a platform where anyone can make suggestions and ask questions in hopes that over time the app will become a one stop shop for information and signposting in the UK and perhaps eventually beyond.
